Details
Qilin Life is a 'student life directory' web app created for the ISF Academy. It was initially designed to help students learn about and join different clubs and societies. Over time, the project has grown to encompass student life in general, with features such as school announcements. Phase 1 of the web app was released in early 2024, and we are already working on Phase 2 in collaboration with students, teachers, and school administrators.
I first joined the project in February of 2024 as a developer, helping with the release of the initial version. I have since taken the role of project manager and co-leader, overseeing the development of Phase 2 and the maintenance of the web app. I have also been responsible for coordinating with the school administration and student body to gather feedback and suggestions for the project.
